General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Last updated: April 2026
1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the contractual relationship between TrueLang and its customers for the use of the artificial intelligence-powered website translation service.
2. Services Offered
TrueLang offers an automated website translation service comprising:
- A translation proxy for websites
- Integration with various AI models (Claude, GPT-4, Gemini, etc.)
- A translation management dashboard
- Extensions for CMS (WordPress, etc.)
3. Pricing and Billing
3.1 Subscription Plans
- Free: 10,000 words for life, 1 website, 1 target language
- Solo: €9.90/month, 1 website, 3 target languages
- Business: €49.90/month, unlimited websites, 10 target languages
3.2 Additional Costs
Using AI for translation requires an API key provided by the customer. API usage costs are billed directly by the selected AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.) and are not included in the TrueLang subscription.
3.3 Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary date of subscription. Payment is made by credit card through our secure payment provider Stripe.
3.4 Setup and configuration option
When ordering, the customer may purchase a setup and configuration service performed by TrueLang. This service is billed at 29.90 € per site covered by the licence, as a single payment made together with it. It is independent from the licence: should it not be performed, the customer's right to use the software is unaffected.
The service requires the customer to provide TrueLang with administrator access to their site. The following terms apply:
- For this purpose the customer creates a dedicated administrator account, separate from their personal account, which they may delete as soon as the work is complete.
- The credentials provided are encrypted upon storage and are never kept in plain text. The decryption key is not stored alongside the data.
- Only the people carrying out the installation can access them, and every consultation is logged.
- The credentials are erased as soon as TrueLang closes the installation, and at any time upon the customer's request.
- TrueLang uses this access solely to install and configure the plugin, and for no other purpose.
Turnaround : The stated turnaround of one business day runs from receipt of the complete information requested from the customer, namely the site address, the access credentials, the source language and the languages to be added. This turnaround is a processing target, not a guaranteed outcome.
Customer obligations : It is the customer's responsibility to hold an up-to-date backup of their site before the work begins, to ensure they are entitled to share such access, and to check that their hosting allows plugins to be installed. TrueLang cannot be held liable for a pre-existing malfunction of the site or for an incompatibility with third-party plugins.
4. Duration and Termination
4.1 Duration
The subscription is concluded for an indefinite period with a monthly billing period.
4.2 Termination
The customer may cancel their subscription at any time from their dashboard. Termination takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refund will be issued.
5. Responsibilities
5.1 TrueLang's Responsibility
TrueLang commits to providing quality service and maintaining platform availability. However, TrueLang cannot be held responsible for:
- The quality of translations generated by third-party AI models

5.2 Customer's Responsibility
The customer is responsible for:

7. Data Protection
TrueLang processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR. For more information, please consult our privacy policy.
